With strong intuition, a deep understanding of people, and a keen eye for the greater dynamics at play at all levels of an organization, I bring 15 years of experience in company and team leadership, change management, growth, and development. I have worked in diverse industries including healthcare and biotech, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, education, marketing, and product development. As the Managing Partner of Corvus & Coil,  I have helped small and midcap public companies generate over $500M in liquidity.

I’ve coached over 1500 CEOs and business leaders in the last 15 years through periods of change and challenge, both professionally and personally, working to turn those experiences into the foundation for purposeful growth, resilience, and success. I believe wholeheartedly in fostering empowerment and engagement from all individuals in a team or organization, helping people be active participants in growth and change processes rather than directing those processes from the top-down. I feel strongly about the importance of clarity and compassion in communications, whether in marketing directed towards your target audience or between individuals, teams, or at the organizational level.

In my personal life, I am an avid dancer, love to study what makes people tick, spend time in nature, and bike and travel with my son.

As a veteran entrepreneur with more than twenty years of executive management experience, I’m an expert in starting, positioning, and building organizations, product and technology innovation (with six issued patents), and all manner of marketing and communications.

I’ve founded multiple start-ups that have gone public and listed on senior exchanges. I’ve built organizations from two people to more than 250, and I’ve advised more than 150 public companies, including Fortune 100 organizations. Along the way my teams have generated over $1 billion in liquidity for our public company clients.

I have an exceptional track record of successfully positioning and branding startups as well as turnarounds and later-stage companies. My skills and experience include investor and public relations, promotions, investor acquisition and retention, and a specialty in market identification, commercialization, and launching emerging technologies.

My domestic and international experience is extensive, having worked in business development, including M&A and strategic finance, in Hong Kong, China, Japan, and the Caribbean.

In addition, my skill set includes full-stack marketing capabilities, from design to social networking, award-winning campaigns to media production.

Prior to joining Corvus & Coil,  I was the CEO and President of Motion Communications, a boutique consulting firm specializing in the development and execution of comprehensive financial and communications strategies for both public and private companies. I was also the Executive Vice President and subsequently President of Trilogy Capital Partners, a New York-based merchant banking, private equity, and advisory firm focused on small to medium-sized public entities. Previous roles include, co-founding and being the Executive Vice President of Universal Guardian, a publicly-traded Homeland Defense technology firm and being co-founder, creative director and Executive Vice President of MindArrow Systems, a NASDAQ-listed, technology-driven marketing services company pioneering rich media communications for the Fortune 500.
